Agreement to our legal terms
We are Hop2IT (Company, we, us, or our).
We operate www.hop2itpc.com, as well as our computer repair, custom PC build, and related technology services that refer or link to these terms (collectively, the Services).

These Terms and Conditions (Legal Terms) are a legally binding agreement between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity (you), and Hop2IT, concerning your access to and use of the Services. By accessing the Services, you agree that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by all of these Legal Terms. If you do not agree with all of these Legal Terms, you are prohibited from using the Services and must discontinue use immediately.
Supplemental terms posted on the Services from time to time are incorporated by reference. We may update these Legal Terms at any time by revising the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. It is your responsibility to review these Legal Terms periodically.
Our Privacy Policy also governs your use of the Services.
1. Our services
Information provided through the Services is not intended for distribution to or use by any person or entity in any jurisdiction where such distribution or use would violate law or regulation. Those who access the Services from other locations do so on their own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local laws, where applicable.
Service quotes, turnaround times, warranties, and repair policies described on the website are summaries only. Final terms for a specific repair or build are confirmed with you directly before work begins.
2. Intellectual property rights
Our intellectual property
We own or license all intellectual property rights in the Services, including source code, databases, functionality, software, website designs, text, photographs, graphics, trademarks, service marks, and logos (collectively, the Content and Marks). The Content and Marks are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
The Content and Marks are provided through the Services "AS IS" for your personal, non-commercial use or internal business purpose only.
Your use of our Services
Subject to your compliance with these Legal Terms, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access the Services and download or print portions of the Content you have properly accessed, solely for personal, non-commercial use or internal business purpose.
Except as permitted in these Legal Terms, no part of the Services, Content, or Marks may be copied, reproduced, republished, uploaded, posted, publicly displayed, encoded, translated, transmitted, distributed, sold, licensed, or otherwise exploited for commercial purpose without our prior written permission.

3. User representations
By using the Services, you represent and warrant that:
- You have legal capacity and agree to comply with these Legal Terms
- You are at least 18 years old in the jurisdiction where you reside
- You will not use the Services through automated or non-human means except as allowed by standard search engines or browsers
- You will not use the Services for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- Your use of the Services will not violate applicable law or regulation
If you provide information that is untrue, inaccurate, not current, or incomplete, we may refuse or discontinue your access to the Services.
4. Prohibited activities
You may not access or use the Services for any purpose other than that for which we make them available. You agree not to:

- Interfere with or disrupt the Services or connected networks
- Harass or threaten our employees or agents
- Attempt to bypass measures designed to restrict access to the Services
- Reverse engineer or decompile any software comprising the Services, except as permitted by law
- Use the Services to compete with us or for unauthorized commercial exploitation of the Content
5. Submissions and feedback
The Services do not offer public forums or user accounts. You may contact us through our website contact form, email, or phone.
By sending us questions, comments, suggestions, ideas, feedback, repair details, or other information about the Services (Submissions), you grant us the right to use that information to respond to you, provide services, and improve our business. You represent that your Submissions are accurate to the best of your knowledge, do not violate third-party rights, and are not unlawful, harassing, defamatory, abusive, or misleading.
You are responsible for your Submissions. You agree to reimburse us for losses arising from your breach of this section, third-party intellectual property rights, or applicable law.
6. Services management
We reserve the right, but not the obligation, to:
- Monitor the Services for violations of these Legal Terms
- Take appropriate legal action against anyone who violates the law or these Legal Terms
- Refuse, restrict, or disable access to the Services when reasonably necessary to protect our rights, users, or systems
- Manage the Services in a manner designed to protect our rights and facilitate proper functioning
7. Term and termination
These Legal Terms remain in effect while you use the Services. We may deny access to the Services, including blocking certain IP addresses, to any person for any reason or no reason, including breach of these Legal Terms or applicable law, without notice or liability.
If your access is terminated or suspended, you may not attempt to regain access through alternate means in violation of these Legal Terms. We reserve the right to pursue appropriate legal remedies.
8. Modifications and interruptions
We may change, modify, or remove content on the Services at any time without notice. We have no obligation to update information on the Services and are not liable for modifications, price changes, suspension, or discontinuance of the Services.
We cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. Hardware, software, maintenance, or other issues may cause interruptions, delays, or errors. We are not liable for loss, damage, or inconvenience caused by inability to access or use the Services during downtime.
9. Governing law
These Legal Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. You and Hop2IT consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Guilford County, North Carolina, for disputes arising from these Legal Terms, except as stated in the Dispute Resolution section below.
10. Dispute resolution
Informal negotiations
To expedite resolution and control cost, you and we agree to attempt to negotiate any dispute arising from these Legal Terms informally for at least thirty (30) days before initiating formal proceedings. Informal negotiations begin when one party gives written notice to the other.
Formal proceedings
If informal negotiations do not resolve the dispute, the dispute shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in Guilford County, North Carolina, and each party submits to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
Exceptions
Either party may seek injunctive or equitable relief in court to protect intellectual property rights or prevent unauthorized use. Nothing in this section prevents either party from bringing an individual claim in small claims court if eligible.
11. Corrections
There may be information on the Services that contains typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions, including descriptions, pricing, availability, and other information. We reserve the right to correct any errors and to change or update information at any time without prior notice.
12. Disclaimer
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN AS-IS AND AS-AVAILABLE BASIS. YOU AGREE THAT YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
WE MAKE NO WARRANTIES ABOUT THE ACCURACY OR COMPLETENESS OF THE SERVICES' CONTENT OR LINKED CONTENT. WE ASSUME NO LIABILITY FOR ERRORS IN CONTENT, PERSONAL INJURY OR PROPERTY DAMAGE ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES, UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO OUR SYSTEMS, INTERRUPTIONS IN TRANSMISSION, MALWARE TRANSMITTED THROUGH THE SERVICES BY THIRD PARTIES, OR LOSS ARISING FROM USE OF CONTENT MADE AVAILABLE THROUGH THE SERVICES.
WE DO NOT WARRANT OR ASSUME RESPONSIBILITY FOR THIRD-PARTY PRODUCTS OR SERVICES ADVERTISED OR LINKED THROUGH THE SERVICES.
13. Limitations of liability
IN NO EVENT WILL WE OR OUR DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE TO YOU OR ANY THIRD PARTY FOR ANY INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFIT, LOST REVENUE, OR LOSS OF DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CAUSE WHATSOEVER AND REGARDLESS OF THE FORM OF THE ACTION WILL AT ALL TIMES BE LIMITED TO THE LESSER OF (A) THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO US FOR THE SPECIFIC SERVICE GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM DURING THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).
SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSIONS. IF THOSE LAWS APPLY TO YOU, SOME OR ALL OF THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY, AND YOU MAY HAVE ADDITIONAL RIGHTS.
14. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless, including our officers, agents, and employees, from and against any loss, damage, liability, claim, or demand, including reasonable attorneys' fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of: (1) your use of the Services; (2) breach of these Legal Terms; (3) breach of your representations and warranties; (4) violation of third-party rights, including intellectual property rights; or (5) any harmful act toward another person connected through the Services.
We reserve the right, at your expense, to assume exclusive defense and control of any matter subject to indemnification, and you agree to cooperate with our defense.
15. User data
We maintain data you transmit through the Services, such as contact form submissions, to operate and improve the Services. Although we use reasonable safeguards, you are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide. We are not liable for loss or corruption of data transmitted through the Services to the extent permitted by law.
16. Electronic communications, transactions, and signatures
Visiting the Services, sending emails, and completing online forms constitute electronic communications. You consent to receive electronic communications and agree that agreements, notices, disclosures, and other communications we provide electronically satisfy legal requirements that such communications be in writing.
YOU AGREE TO THE USE OF ELECTRONIC SIGNATURES, CONTRACTS, ORDERS, AND RECORDS, AND TO ELECTRONIC DELIVERY OF NOTICES, POLICIES, AND RECORDS OF TRANSACTIONS INITIATED OR COMPLETED BY US OR VIA THE SERVICES.
17. Miscellaneous
These Legal Terms and our posted policies constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Services. Our failure to enforce any right or provision is not a waiver. These Legal Terms apply to the fullest extent permitted by law. We may assign our rights and obligations at any time. We are not liable for failure to act due to causes beyond our reasonable control.
If any provision is unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision is severable and does not affect remaining provisions. No joint venture, partnership, employment, or agency relationship is created by these Legal Terms or your use of the Services.
